It's a Game

The point of discussion now a days is football.Almost every one is self made renowned footballer.No one saw them where they actually played may be in there own backyard.Every player has to receive some sort of instruction from everyone.I know am sounding a bit rude.But there few things which are doing rounds within me.


First of all do we Indians really have the rights to criticize the teams which are playing in world cup.Because first of all we should ask our self where do we stand.There are very few teams which are lagging behind us in football.Why should n't we see what are we doing?Everyday I see Indian players,coaches giving there views on previous days matches and what should the players and coaches do in the next match regarding tactics,formation and all.I just want to ask them a simple and silly question Why do not you use all your brain,knowledge,skills in the ground and take Indian football to a new level?Now you know every thing about the players and all about the coaches so why do n't you implement those things and take Indian football to a new level.Now those people can complain about infrastructure and corruption.I want to ask them name one area where India lacks corruption.They can complain about physique of the players but how can Japan or South Korea reach the finals.I do n't know these things may be some one knows.

If it is football we Bengalis always have a say.Now a days we can see a hell lot of Argentine or Brazilian flag all around us.At times hard to believe that we are actually in India and not in Brazil or Argentina.But am not complaining.What hurts me most is that does all these peoples support India when we are in the Olympics or how many of these people know about Sania Nehwal what she did a few days ago in badminton.I guess its hard to find any.

So wat say Indians??

To our friend Nigsy......

I could have written "To my friend NIGSY".But if Nigam[Nigsy] reads this blog someday I just wanna tell him that I may be writing this words Nigsy,but we all feel the same for you.
I don't remember the exact date and time when I first met this shy,angry lad in my early days of college and will not say that I was a huge fan of him from day one ,but gradually I knew him.I found enough reasons initially to be a friend of this lad and after four years which has gone so fast on 20/6/2010 am quite happy to think that I made quite a right choice in my early college days and thanks to you Nigsy that you make me feel this way.Honestly I have hardly seen such an adjustable guy like u Nigsy,specially adjusting with our cigarettes.I will never forget those days when I used to bunk my classes and it was you who taught me before my exams and answered to my stupid questions.You are the most studious guy among all of us and what to say about girls Nigsy.Swati Patra is still waiting for you and some day we will all visit that girl for whom you gave us a short but hearty party on her birthday.
Now that you are leaving us today[20/6/2010] Nigsy I want to say a few things to you Nigsy. 1.Tame down your anger a bit Nigsy nahi bhabhi bohot pit ne wali tere se.

2.Try and walk a bit slow Nigsy nahi to bhabi ya girlfriend piche reh jayegi aur Nigsy hamesha tere aur Sameer k peeche mujh jaise aur saat aat log rahenge[coz we are not gonna leave you yaara] Nigsy aur hum logon ka kamena pan to tujhe pata hi hoga.Apart from HR.

3.Never ever allow any photograher around you when you are peeing.haha.You know what I mean.

4. The most important thing Nigsy be the same as you are.

While my guitar gently weeps

As far as my music is concerned am going through a nice period of time.After those boring leads now am playing those hell lot of rhythms and playing them with ease and correctly.It's only the sole which is troubling me.Either I play this rhythm right or sing the song right.Can't do both.But as always I will be late but I will be there.So shortly kid will ROCK

Success

What is success?Who is successful today?Is earning a healthy amount of money at the end of the month known as success?Can't be a tailor successful today?Yes if you are an Indian then you are a big looser.Because to be a successful person we need to earn 40 thousand per month.But if we travel far west,every one is successful be it a teacher,tailor,hair dresser,doctor,engineer every one is successful,to some extent happy and every one is best suited for there job.But we Indians are all ways doing the catch up job.Very few people are there who are engineer or doctor by heart but there are loads of people who see there neighbor's son studying medical or engineering and put there child for the same in the colleges.But they never ever want to know what there child wants to be?
So at the end of the day those people are neither happy nor successful.But in India we need to earn big to survive at least.But that is not success I guess.

The success story for me is to be happy and to be a nice person.Let's try to be happy with what we have.Because if we are happy with what we have we in other words are successful.But yes for the sake of progress we should go for more but in a healthy way.There should always be a healthy competition.You may think me as an escapist but I am not.So what I say is let's be happy let's enjoy our life. Success will be following us.

BAND

Band.A word heard very frequently now a days.Be it someone's passion or carrier option some how or the other at an average a band is formed per day now a days.It's really nice for the band members to have a cool hairstyle,nice guitars, all the flash light and not to mention all the lady attention they get.But as an Indian lets talk about Indian bands.

What kind of music does bands do now a days.The genre.It's either metal or rock and there is some pop.Mainly it's rock or metal.But these rock and metal is not Made in India product.It's being imported from foreign countries. But then music in any form welcomed.Be it any kind of music we need to feel the rhythm,get into tune.That's when you feel the music most.

But what I need to say at this point of time is what's the point making music in the same manner in which western bands does.I think there is no point just get in to the stage sing few songs of Metallica and Pink Floyd and get down.But as these bands do n't come to India frequently so we feel that it's better to listen to the exact copy.While coping those the scope of creativity is less.We have to stick to the original one.We have every thing in front of us.We just need to ring those notes and we are done and if people cheer for a song say Nothing else matters it's mainly because of a band called Metallica.

What I think we should be doing is making a REAL original composition.As far as music is concerned I think we Indians are the richest on the earth.Let's add some Indian curry to metals and rocks.There are lots of genre, what ever you say in Indian music like carnatic music,hindustani music,qawwali, lots of raga etc.Lets take few things from there add to the music what we are currently making.Few of the bands do but most of them don't.Then the music will be very much Indian without having any Indian instrument as the bands only play with drums,guitar,keyboards.

Another point what I think stops a lot of people from listening to bands is the language.Problems we face when we face when we face a devil known as English.But then you can say rock is best said in English but whats the point saying when most of them don't understand.Be it rock or metal they always have some message to give.Those messages are really important but people need to understand the lyrics, the message.Then it's a complete music.But then you can say if you have a really a nice music then the language is not a problem and it is certainly not.It is really a tricky one and it is up to u people to decide.

Shades

Two and half months.Sixty one days to be precise.After that I will be ending my college life.The four most beautiful years of my life.There will be no bunking classes,assignments,semesters,night long studies,smoking in the class etc etc.After four years from now college canteens,class rooms,college grounds will be long gone.The only thing that will remain is the nice cool daring moments that I shared with my friends.Do not know about friends if they will be in touch or not but the time I spend with them will always be cherished till I die.
The entire atmosphere was different in college.The do not care attitude,fighting every thing was lovable.
But just we step out of the college gate once life changes radically.It is hard core reality.It is not leaving the life it will be catching up with the life.Like finding a job,certain rules,maintaining a good rapport with persons even if you do not like them.I certainly think that in these phase of the life every one waits life to be full circle.But that was not the situation when we left college.We were free spirited then.We achieved what we wanted. We (leaving some of them) had a devil-may-care attitude.
In college I and every one used to curse those dumbos who did not turn up when there was a strike or something like that.Because we were not like them.But all the so called hunks gets in to the roller coaster ride of life we change into those dumbos of our college life.We nod positively infront of our bosses even if they wrong.We did not act in the same manner in front of our teachers in the same manner if they were wrong.So why should we change.Irrespective of time wrong is always wrong.But then we need to impress our bosses to earn a promotion.We from a rock star or photographer or dancer change into people who does any thing and everything(which we hated in our earlier stage of ur life) to earn a good leaving.Is this the person we wanted to be when we read loads of moral science book in our schools.Certainly not.So lets just not let life rule us lets rule the life.Lets be what we wanted to be and flourish in our own field.Do not worry our country will not have a 120 corers of photographers,guitarist and dancers some kids still love computers.So let us change.
